| This Porsche 911 was purchased and prepared to
participate in the East African Safari Rally 2003. It took almost a year to prepare the car well for the
extraordinary endurance test expected. Besides the "standard" rally
strengthening and safety modifications, several additional measures were
taken, such as moving all essential electrical components away from the
fenders, replacing the fuel tank, using two fuel pumps, and making room for
a second spare tire.
