 The Historic Rally Team
consist of several cars, drivers and co-pilots from the north eastern part
of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. That's just about where the Teutons were at home
when they successfully drove back the roman army some 2 millennia ago.Although it might be questionable if any of the drivers and co-pilots of
the teams actually descend from these Teutons, they definitely inherited
some of the teutonian spirit: they keep fighting, even if they are
outnumbered by opponents with much newer equipment than their own.
As far as the Historic Rally Team is concerned fighting means to
continue driving - for the fastest results. The team's cars, drivers and
co-pilots participate in selected Rally events that are open for historic
cars. These Rally events are either exclusively for historic cars or
sometimes allow new and historic cars to participate in the same event.
Especially when many different classes start in one event it is hard for
our team to reach the overall best time as they compete with cars that
sometimes have an engine with more than twice the power. However, they
typically fulfill their goal to be the best in their class. See the results
